Why  Aerosol Can Cages Are Important?

Any aerosol cage from LABNORI made range is constructed from heavy duty, powder-coated steel and is robust and easy to manoeuvre certain aerosol can storage cages can even be bench mounted.

The aerosol cages feature high open area perforations which deliver natural ventilation in accordance with Australian Standards and all appropriate warning and safety signage is included.

Bolt down plates allow the aerosol cage to be permanently fixed for added security and all doors can be locked using the padlock lugs (padlocks are not supplied). Doors are also fitted with a magnetic latch for easy closure.

These aerosol can storage cages are manufactured to comply with the requirements of AS/NZS3833-2024.

Aerosol can cages, often referred to as spray can cages, are essential storage solutions designed specifically for the safe containment of aerosol products. Aerosol can cages provide a robust solution for the secure storage of aerosol spray cams, offering numerous benefits that enhance safety across various industries.  The heavy duty steel construction provides protection in the event an aerosol can is compromised or ruptured.

One of the main safety features of aerosol cages is the perforated walls and roof which provide natural ventilation in line with Australian Standards. This means dangerous flammable vapours cant be built up inside a closed cabinet  which reduces any potential fire risks.

All of our aerosol cages are also equipped with bolt down plates and padlock lugs which increases the security for aerosol cans in the workplace.

Australian Standard AS/NZS3833-2024: Ensuring Safe Storage of Flammable Gasses

The Australian Standard AS/NZS3833-2024 is a critical guideline that governs the safe storage of flammable gases. This standard outlines the necessary requirements for the design, construction, and operation of aerosol storage cages to mitigate risks associated with flammable gases.

Compliance with AS/NZS3833-2024 is essential for any organisation dealing with hazardous materials. It provides a framework for implementing safe storage standards that protect both personnel and the environment. The standard addresses various aspects, including the classification of flammable gases, appropriate storage methods, and emergency response procedures.
